I constructed this costume of individual panes of red fabric in singular shapes that attached to various parts of a fire escape. The performance was in the dead of winter for the blue light and cold endurance of the performance. The action was a fleeing down the fire escape causing all the panels to become taut. There is a see-thru panel that holds one arm next to the body to further the lack the ability to escape.
